“Law!”
Lowering the medical journal he was browsing, he turns to face the girl bounding toward him.
“They have it, they have it, they have it!” You exclaim, bouncing up and down in front of him.
“And what is it that they have, (y/n)-ya?” He asks with a small chuckle, your excitement amusing him.
“Book seven!” You proclaim, brandishing the book as if it was the One Piece.
He glances down at the book in your hands, ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.’ “I see…” he says, the disapproval evident in his voice.
“So you’ll buy it for me then?” You ask, dismissing his tone.
“Why can’t you buy it yourself?” Not that he would not purchase the wretched book for you, there was nothing in this world he would not do for you.
“I left all my money back on the sub.” You reply with a sheepish smile.
“I don’t understand how you read that crap.” He finally says after you guys had been quietly reading in his office for some time, your head resting on his lap.
“How dare you.” You retort in feigned anger. “JK Rowling is the best author that has ever lived and this series… this series is life-changing.”
“Umhmm,” He hums, “Life-changing eh?”
“Yes, life-changing.”
“And how’s that?” He asks, putting down the copy of ‘Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders,’ he had been reading.
“Well…” you start, looking up at him, “... It’s not really life-changing at all.” You admit, defeated.
“Didn’t think so.”
“But, it is really good… and super addicting… just ask Shachi and Penguin… I lent them the other six books and they’re hooked.”
“Somehow I don’t trust their judgement in literature… but I’m sure it’s riveting.” He replies with a smirk.
“No really, it’s about the adventure a lonely young boy embarks on, overcoming unimaginable obstacles, finding friendship, fulfilling his destiny as he confronts the one man dead set on destroying his life…”
“Sounds like the plot line of every other heroic journey in existence.”
“But it’s not.” You insist, “They’re wizards, battling trolls, and giant spiders, and basilisks, and dragons, and dementors! Dementors! They’re like these soulless creatures who gradually deprive human minds of happiness and intelligence!”
“Terrifying.” He deadpans, eliciting a glare from you.
“You’re no fun. Where’s your sense of adventure!?”
At that he lets out a chuckle. “Sweetheart, we’re pirates,” he says, emphasizing the last word, “sailing the Grand Line, exploring the New World.”
Sitting up you cross your arms and pout at him in defiance, “But… but… they’re wizards… WIZARDS!” You exclaim, failing your arms in emphasis. “Who can do magic! They got spells for everything! They can enchant objects, freeze things, set things on fire, make things out of fire, teleport… there’s even a summoning spell that allows them summon things from-”
“Oh really?” He quips, cutting you off as he leans in toward you. “Because you don’t know anybody who has the power to do that…”
“I… I…” You stammer, squirming under his intense stare.
“Well?” He asks, drawing even closer, causing you to fall backwards into the arm of the couch, as he places his hand next to you, cutting off your only escape route.
Suppressing the blush threatening to rise to your cheeks due to the proximity of his face, you quickly grab the hat off his head and throw it on your head, pulling it down over your eyes. “Nope, no one.” You mumble, attempting to disappear under his hat.
“Is that so, (y/n)-ya?” The playfulness in his voice is not lost to you as an impish smile breaks out across your face.
Letting go of the brim of the hat, you snake your arms around his neck, pulling him even closer and press your lips upon his.
Smirking into your lips, he returns your kiss, pouring into it everything he felt about you.
“What were we talking about again?” You ask breathlessly as you break for air.
“Who cares.” He replies, capturing your lips again.

Shachi and Penguin laughed to themselves when the noticed that book tucked under their Captain's arm as he exited the bookstore.
"He's so the Harry to her Ginny." Shachi said with a laugh.
"So does that make us Fred and George?" Penguin asked.
"As long as I'm George."
"Wait how come I have to be the one who's dead."
Shachi shrugged in response to his friend's comment and kept walking.
"I guess Bepo would be Ron then." Penguin continued.
"That would make sense, too bad we don't have a Hermione."
"I'm okay with that though. One bear is enough."
"Why would it have to be another bear?"
"Considering Hermione's relationship with Ron, it would have to be."

Kozuki Momonosuke weighted the wand in his little hand. A light smile appeared on Rayleigh’s face at the gesture.
«Do you like it, young boy? It is very rare for me to match a wizard with a cherry wand.»
The child raised his marvelled eyes on the wand-maker.
«Really?»
«Sure. In Mahoutokoro, the Japanese school of wizardry, students with cherry wands have special prestige. The Kozuki family is from there, isn’t it? This wand probably felt it and chose you.»
A pleased grin started to form on Momonosuke’s lips, as his eyes glued back to the wand and his grip grew firmer.
«So this is my w

Professor Donquixote Rocinante, commonly known as “Corazon”, welcomed you in his class with an affectionate grin on his painted lips.
As it happened most of the lessons you were following with Ravenclaw, almost all the students of the other House had already taken place on their seats.
«Damn nerds.» Valentine muttered, before randomly selecting a desk.
Slytherin students quickly sat as well, and you ended up between Killer and Perona.
«Good morning to everyone!» Corazon cheered «I’m happy to see you all back again! Since we have just one hour and Principal Edward surely dropped a big bomb yesterd

Care for Magical Creatures was the last lesson of your Monday. Professor Inuarashi had the whole class gathered in the yard, not too far from the border of the Forbidden Forest.
Afternoon periods were reserved for elective subjects, so students from all Houses were taking them together. You sat with Heat and Ginrummy, who were the only other Slytherin there.
«Welcome back to Hogwarts, kids. This year is going to be very special, I saw a few of you have already put the name in the Goblet.» the Professor smiled proudly «Magical creatures have always played a role in the Triwizard Tournament before, so I want to focus my lessons

So yea... I'm aware that Book 7 came out like almost ten years ago... let's just say it takes about that long for things to reach the Grand Line... ha.
PIRATES VS WIZARDS... no not really... just some Law fluff.
I own nothing.
